Health Notice To Our Patients

We wanted to provide the following information to assure you that your safety and well-being are of the utmost importance to us and that we take all appropriate steps to protect your health. The risk of viral infection at our office is extremely low and we want to emphasize the importance of maintaining your overall health at this time and provide some information to help you do this.

  1. Dental offices do not treat contagious illness such as the flu or cold viruses, and actually recommend against coming to an appointment if you have an illness, so your risk of encountering a sick individual here is smaller than most places you go. Also, because we are a medical facility we already have much more robust cleaning and disinfecting protocols than most public places which further reduces your risk.

  2. Our office is professionally cleaned every day and our treatment rooms are cleaned and disinfected with high grade and highly effective disinfectant by our staff following every patient visit. All instruments are sterilized with sophisticated autoclave steam sterilization equipment after each use.

  3. We are further providing additional cleaning and disinfecting to our waiting area, rest rooms, electronic devices, and patient areas several times a day.

  4. We ask that you help us by participating in the following safety procedures to prevent the spread of any pathogen, and particularly this year’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) illness.
    1. Please let the office know if you are ill so that we may reschedule you.
    2. Please let us know if you have been in contact with others who have symptoms of illness, if you have recently traveled overseas to any high risk countries, or if you or a family member is currently under quarantine.
    3. Upon your arrival to our office, please use the hand sanitizer we have provided in the reception area.
    4. Please disinfect your hands prior to using any pens or electronic devices to fill out any documents we may need from you.
    5. If using the restroom or exiting and reentering our office, we ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided upon reentry.
    6. Please note that we will be limiting social distance, including handshaking, as a means of decreasing possible transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19), or other illness.
