Veneers & Lumineers
Veneers are a fantastic way to fix front teeth. You can whiten your teeth, close spaces, and create a great smile. We can even do virtually instant orthodontics to straighten crooked teeth.
- Spaces between the teeth (diastemas)
- Broken or chipped teeth
- Unsightly, stained or washed out fillings
- Permanently stained or discolored teeth
- Mis-shapen or crooked teeth
- Whiten dark yellow or stained teeth
Have you ever wished you had better looking teeth without all the hassle of braces (orthodontics) or crowns (caps)? NOW YOU CAN! Porcelain veneers are the answer for instant orthodontics to straighten smiles, close spaces, reshape, and accomplish minor realignment of your teeth. You can even have that “Hollywood” smile you’ve always wanted.
Veneers are very thin and are bonded on the front of your anterior teeth. Dentists use some of the same techniques to bond plastic resins for minor smile corrections. These veneers are about 0.3mm to 0.5mm in thickness but are very strong once bonded to your teeth. They have a “life like” appearance with the strength, beauty, and durability only porcelain restorations can afford. Veneers have several advantages over crowns (caps). There is no “dark line” that is sometimes seen with older front caps. They transmit light better and, therefore, have a more translucent appearance giving a natural, esthetic look. Veneers do not require the massive grinding of tooth structure that caps do, yet, they accomplish a lifelike esthetic result.
How’s it done? After a through discussion with your dentist to establish just what you wish to accomplish AND establish what can or can not be done, your first appointment usually involves some minor contouring of the front teeth and taking an impression of the teeth. The veneers are tried in, and, if satisfactory, they are bonded in place. A follow up visit is made in a week. The results are instant and spectacular! Many times, we combine bleaching with porcelain veneers to make that perfect smile. If some front teeth are already badly broken down, we can place new all porcelain crowns combined with veneering and other cosmetic techniques. As always, talk to your dentist or one specializing in cosmetic dentistry and discuss your specific desires. Usually, we can give you that smile you have always wanted.

Make the Most of Your Smile with Minimal Reduction
Sometimes, a smile needs a little boost. Veneers can correct many aesthetic dental problems, including:
- Stains or Discoloration
- Chips and Cracks
- Misalignment or Crookedness
- Sharp, Fang-like Appearance
- Spaces Between Teeth
- Other Imperfections
However, Navarre Dentist patients must undergo significant tooth reduction prior to placement of veneers. Tooth reduction makes a bonded veneer appear natural, lying flat, in line with existing teeth, and this is often the correct procdure for a patient’s individual clinical situation. However, when natural dentition is removed, it cannot be replaced, so when conditions warrant the procedure, it is often the preferred treatment to use lumineers instead of conventional veneers.
Traditional veneers have to be a certain thickness to be functional. They require a patient to have tooth reduction, and they are not reversible however because of the tooth reduction the traditional veneer may sometimes produce a more cosmetically appealing and a more functional result. Because the leucite-reinforced, pressed ceramic used for Lumineers is stronger than that of traditional veneers, it can be made thinner without compromising durability. A thinner veneer means less tooth reduction is required. Thin porcelain also allows light to enter and reflect off of natural underlying tooth structure, so Lumineers project your existing tooth shading and appear completely natural.
Florida Family Dentist patients don’t usually need anesthesia when Lumineers are placed, and the entire procedure can be completed in just two office visits. If you’re concerned about tooth reduction, but you want a dazzling Hollywood smile, ask us about Lumineers by Cerinate at your next office visit.
What makes LUMINEERS® Porcelain Veneers different from other veneers?
LUMINEERS ® BY CERINATE ® are porcelain veneers that offer the painless way to a permanently whiter and perfectly aligned smile. Your LUMINEERS dentist can apply these contact lens-thin “smile shapers” to teeth without any grinding or shaving, transforming teeth into a naturally beautiful smile that looks perfect for every individual. LUMINEERS can even be placed over existing crown or bridgework without having to replace them.
LUMINEERS are contact lens-thin and are placed over existing teeth without having to remove painful tooth structure (unlike traditional veneers.) LUMINEERS is the painless, permanent cosmetic solution for stained, chipped, discolored or misaligned teeth.
LUMINEERS can only be made from patented Cerinate porcelain unavailable anywhere other than the Cerinate Smile Design Studio. In just 2-3 visits to your LUMINEERS dentist, you can have a custom-made smile that is clinically proven to last over 20 years – and it is completely reversible since your natural tooth structure is still intact! Get your perfect smile today!
Teeth are stained, slightly misshapen with spaces in-between. An impression is made and the mold is sent to the Cerinate Smile Design Studios where only LUMINEERS are crafted.
Non Painful Tooth Prepreation
On next dental visit, the dentist tries in LUMINEERS to ensure a good fit. Teeth are moderately etched to prepare for placement but there is no removal of sensitive tooth structure, unlike the painful part of traditional veneer techniques. The LUMINEERS are bonded to natural teeth and set in place with a curing light.
In only 2 easy dental visits, your patient will have a permanently whiter and beautiful smile without shots, drilling, or pain.
